FS03 Fire Warden 

Target Participant: Those responsible for evacuation of leadership roles in an emergency.

Validity:  12 months  

This course is more comprehensive than the basic courses. It provides fire behaviour and fire extinguisher training as well as more advanced topics relevant to performing the role of a fire warden.

This course focuses on security, administration and management personnel who have the skills to be able to lead other employees and guests to safety. This course contains both a theory and practical component, giving participants all the experiences of the basic course with more in depth lessons on roles and responsibilities of being a fire warden and techniques for ensuring everyone is accounted for. In larger businesses, personnel counters are another important role in your emergency management planning.

This course also covers the responsibilities of this role. It is recomended that this course is followed up with workplace fire drills to give participants a better understanding of how their roles are implemented in a real scenario.
